Who We Work Best With

We’re designed to plug into teams that have their process together.

01

High-Volume Installers

Teams running repeatable installs who need a design partner that can match their pace—not slow them down with back-and-forth.

02

Storage-Forward EPCs

Companies deploying battery systems that need to stay program-compliant and VPP-ready after PTO—not just permitted.

03

Organized Operations

Partners who send complete project details upfront, communicate via email, and value a defined scope. We return the favor with fast, accurate packages.

Services

Engineering services for teams that take solar + storage seriously.

Permit-Ready Plan Sets

Solar + storage plan sets built for your specific AHJ and utility requirements. Site plans, single-line diagrams, structural details, equipment schedules, labels, and notes—delivered as a complete, submission-ready package.

Engineering Coordination

PE stamps, structural letters, and electrical reviews coordinated as part of your project. One point of contact—we manage the engineering so you don’t chase between submittals.

Volume Templates

For high-volume partners: we build templates tuned to your equipment stack and service areas so turnaround tightens with every project. Standardized inputs, repeatable outputs.

Add-On

Permitting & Interconnection Direction

A bounded advisory package for plan-set clients who need jurisdiction-specific direction on the permitting and interconnection process. Includes:

  • Pathway memo and documentation checklist
  • AHJ/utility intake requirements
  • Limited support touchpoints (defined in scope)

This is not a help desk. We do not provide unlimited calls, on-demand status updates, or open-ended support. Standalone availability is limited and priced separately.

Deep experience with storage-first residential architectures and program constraints.

How We Work

A defined process from intake to delivery. No ambiguity, no scope creep.

1

Submit Complete Project Details

Site address, photos (roof, MSP, meter), equipment selections, and utility/program info. We confirm receipt and verify completeness. Incomplete submittals are returned before work begins.

2

Scope & Quote

You receive a clear scope of work with pricing. No surprises, no hidden add-ons. Approve it and we start immediately.

3

Design Delivered in 24 Hours

Complete plan set delivered for your review within 24 hours of approval. First project with a new partner may take slightly longer as we dial in your preferences. Revision rounds defined in scope.

4

Stamps & Delivery

Once you approve the design, engineering stamps (structural and/or electrical) are coordinated within 24 hours. You receive the complete, permit-ready package. AHJ correction support included.

Intake Requirements

We require complete project information before work begins: site address, photos (roof, MSP, utility meter), equipment selections, and utility/program details.

The 24-hour turnaround clock starts when we have everything we need. Incomplete submittals are returned for completion—not queued.

How Communication Works

Email-first. All project communication runs through email for documentation, accuracy, and a clear paper trail. Emails are responded to promptly—typically within hours.

Calls are available but written communication is strongly preferred. It keeps details precise and makes it easy to reference project specifics across multiple active jobs.

Who’s Behind HPH

Kelsey McFarland

NABCEP PV Design Specialist • ICC Permit Technician • Licensed General Contractor

HPH Solutions was built from the practitioner side of solar + storage design. Every plan set reflects the same standard I’d hold for my own install—accurate, complete, and built for the jurisdiction it’s going to. I work with teams that value precision, and I keep my client list intentionally small so quality stays high.

I also track the VPP and distributed energy landscape at vpp.services—it’s where I follow the programs, policies, and market shifts that shape how we design.

Deep experience with storage-first residential architectures and program constraints.
